Harry Truman became President in April 1945 after the death of Franklin Roosevelt. Curator Clay Bauske toured the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum and explained Truman's role in bringing the end to World War II as well as his decision to send American troops into Korea, which he said was the most difficult decision of his presidency.
